Project goal and background |
The project considers procurement of testing equipment (digital soil PH meter and GPS apparatus for measuring fields) for 3 regional State Agrarian Development Centers in Azerbaijan (Gandja, Sheki, Lankaran) and conducting the seminars for volunteers and staff of State Agrarian Development Centers on usage of these testing equipment. The main goal of the proposal is to increase productivity of small and medium farmers though testing their soil by volunteers of organization and provide theoretical and practical knowledge. |

Project result |
This project offered practical knowledge and skills on using testing equipment in order to increase Gandja, Sheki and Lankaran regions farmers` awareness about water and soil conditions. Project provided the opportunity to meet the volunteers of Gandja, Sheki and Lankaran regions with specialists Regional Center for Agrarian Science and Innovation, as well as to learn about JICA activities in Azerbaijan and JICA mini grant projects for JICA Alumni Association. |
