Provision of medical equipment for Educational-Surgical clinic of the Azerbaijan Medical University

Provision of medical equipment for Educational-Surgical clinic of the Azerbaijan Medical University On February 22, 2017 the handover ceremony of Purchase of Rad 5 Pulse Oximetry and Capnograhy EMMA for examination of newborn infants was conducted in Educational-Surgical clinic of the Azerbaijan Medical University. This project was funded from JICA Alumni Association budget in framework of JICA “Mini Grant Projects” allocated for Ms.Sevinj Mukhtarova, Assistant of professor, Neonatology department of Azerbaijan Medical University, ex-participant of JICA KCCP on Maternal and Child Health Management, conducted in Japan during November 04-17, 2015. Ms.Sevinj Mukhtarova became a winner of Mini Grant projects competition in 2016, her project comprising of provision of Rad 5 Pulse Oximetry and Capnograhy EMMA for             examination of newborn infants to Educational-Surgical clinic of the Azerbaijan Medical University was selected as a result of screening process among 17 project. The neonatology equipment were delivered to Neonatology department of Azerbaijan Medical University and will be use in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and implementation of them will improve the morbidity and outcome of the newborns.
