Provision of wielding equipment and its accessories to Vocational education and training school N 4 of Baku city

On February 21, 2017 the handover ceremony of wielding equipment and its accessories was conducted in Vocational education and training (VET) school N 4 of Baku city. This project was funded from JICA Alumni Association budget in framework of JICA “Mini Grant Projects” allocated for Mr.Orkhan Kazimov, Head of Department Strategic Planning Department Baku Transportation Agency Republic of Azerbaijan, ex-participant of JICA KCCP on Community Capacity and Rural Development-Focusing on One Village One Product Movement, conducted in Japan during April 8-27, 2014

Mr.Orkhan Kazimov became a winner of Mini Grant projects competition in 2016, his project comprising of provision wielding equipment and its accessories to VET school N 4 of Baku city was selected as a result of screening process among 17 project.

The wielding equipment were installed in VET school N 4 of Baku city and provides the students with opportunity to acquire full range of welding skills and practical experience.

The Deputy director of VET School N 4 Ms.Saida Rzayeva, Chief Representative of Uzbekistan Office of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Mr.Katsutoshi Fushimi, JICA Program Coordinator for Azerbaijan Ms.Nigar Ismaylova, Japan International Cooperation Agency Program Coordinator for Uzbekistan Mr.Farhod Kurbanov, Head of Department Strategic Planning Department,  Mr.Orkhan Kazimov, Deputy Division Head, State agency on vocational education Mr.Rauf Feyzullayev, Division Head, State agency on vocational education Mr.Eldar Salahov, as well as VET N4 students and teaching staff attended the handover ceremony.
